These terms apply to all driving lessons and courses booked with Learn With AutoDrive (“we”, “us”). By booking a lesson you agree to them. Please read them alongside our prices and privacy policy.

1. Before you can take lessons

You must hold a valid provisional driving licence, or a full licence for refresher and advanced lessons, and bring it to your first lesson.
You must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres, wearing glasses or contact lenses if you need them.
You must tell us about any medical condition or medication that could affect your driving.
You must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If we believe you are unfit to drive, the lesson will not go ahead and will be charged in full.

2. Booking and payment

You can book by phone, WhatsApp or our contact form. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the date, time and pick-up point with you.
Our current prices are shown on our prices page. Prices may change, but a lesson or course you have already paid for is honoured at the price you paid.
Payment is due in advance or at the start of each lesson, as agreed when you book. Courses are paid for in advance unless we agree otherwise.
Theory and practical test fees are not included in our prices and are paid directly to the DVSA.

3. Your lessons

Lessons are one-to-one in an automatic car with a DVSA-approved instructor.
Pick-up and drop-off within the areas we cover are included. Lesson time runs from the agreed start time.
Please be ready at the agreed pick-up point. If you are late, the lesson still finishes at the scheduled time.
The number of lessons you need depends on you. Any estimate we give is a guide, not a guarantee.

4. Cancelling or changing a lesson

Lessons must be cancelled or moved at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full lesson fee.
To cancel or move a lesson, call or WhatsApp 07859 294532.
If we have to cancel, for example because of illness, a vehicle fault or dangerous weather or road conditions, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer another time. You will not be charged for a lesson we cancel.

5. Courses and lesson packages

Lesson packages are non-refundable once lessons have begun. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

6. Driving tests

We cannot guarantee a pass on your driving test. Results depend on individual performance on the day.
Please check with us before you book a practical test so that the car and instructor are available on the day.
We may advise you not to take a test if we believe you are not yet at test standard, and we may decline to provide our car for a test if we consider it unsafe.

7. Conduct and safety

You must follow your instructor’s directions at all times while driving. Learn With AutoDrive reserves the right to end a lesson if a student behaves in an unsafe or disrespectful manner. A lesson ended for this reason is charged in full.

8. Our responsibility to you

We provide lessons with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when you booked, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as traffic, road closures or weather.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us at learnwithautodrive@gmail.com or on 07859 294532 so that we can put it right. We will reply as quickly as we can.

10. Your information

We use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.

11. General

These terms are governed by Scots law and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer living elsewhere in the UK. We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown on this page when you book applies to that booking.
